Dear Member,

Welcome to the first newsletter of the Indian Engineers Association of Thailand

The membership demographic looked as follows at the time of going in for the first meeting on 9th May, 2015 and since then has been fast changing with a number of new registrations increasing from the Chemicals/Auto/IT/ITES sectors in the past week.

The first meeting was held on 9th May 2015 at India Thai Chamber of Commerce, which was attended by over 80 members. It is notable that members took the efforts to come from Rayong and Prachinburi !

Mr.Laxminarayana Acharya, one of the members of the Founding Team was the master of ceremonies and Mr.Harsh Sethi, also from the Founding Team who has pioneered this effort since  a year ago gave the welcome address enumerating the broad objectives that include networking, professional training, personal growth, social activities among others to further evolve. This was followed by another presentation by Mr.M.K.Balaji, also from the Founding Team, on the statistics (as provided above) and also conducted an open house to further deliberate on the objectives and solicit views of the members present. He also presented on growth trends in industry segments and jobs according to a recent survey conducted by AESC.
